Institute
on the Constitution (IOTC) is an educational effort sponsored
by the Law Office of Peroutka and Peroutka of Pasadena, Maryland.
It is neither an instrument of, nor an advocate for, any particular
political party. Rather, we advocate the restoration of our
Constitutional Republic by offering classes, lectures, and
products designed to re-acquaint the American people with
our history, our heritage, and our Constitution, which is
the very foundation of our Republic. You will not find smoke,
mirrors, or political correctness filters at our presentations.
Just real American history, the way it was, the way it ought
to be taught.

Winter
and Spring IOTC classes:
On
Tuesday February 5th at 7pm
our Jury Class will begin. It will equip you to defend our
Constitution by your service as a juror. The class will continue
each Tuesday evening till March 11th.
We
are planning to conduct one class in the spring quarter on
Tuesday evenings 7pm. We thought we'd put the decision in
your hands. What would you plan to attend, our U.S. Constitution
Class - or our Maryland Constitution Class? You can register

We'll announce the winning class at March's First Friday.
Classes will begin April 1st.

Life
as a Constitutionist in the Maryland General Assembly
As
you might expect, it is a challenge to uphold the values
and views of our Founding Fathers in this day in age. It
is sad but true that the majority of our elected officials
(my colleagues) have very little regard to protect the Constitution
and laws of this state. Instead, most seem enamored with
imposing more law and regulation to control the lives of
citizens who the Founders envisioned as free and brave.
In November, the General assembly was convened by order of
the Governor for a Special Session to pass the largest tax
increase in the history of Maryland. During that session,
there was a Constitutional violation that was not only ignored
but was covered up by the creation of fraudulent documents
